I have decided to take the P90X Challenge with my boss...
Here is the plan:
We will go into work at 8:00 and work until 4:00 then we will do P90X from 4:00-5:00.
The reason I am wanting to do and try this is because my brother in law currently does it, and I am out of shape and slow. I also play basketball every Tuesday night on a league and want to play better and compete more.
I have decided that the best way for me to get back in shape is to do P90X, especially since there is snow on the ground and it is too cold to run outside. Day 1 of P90X starts on Monday December 6th. I will post pictures on that day as well as what workout I did and how that went. The program claims that in 90 days you will look and feel so much better and now I am putting it to the test!
My ideal weight is 190-195 and I haven't been around that weight for 5 years! I currently weigh 210, which isn't bad, but considering that I am starting to get a bit pudgy and slower I want to change this and take control of it now, before it gets out of hand.
I will do my best to post everyday and log how the exercise went and some of what I ate for the day, so as to give a good accounting of the journey. I would also like to post my weight on a weekly basis with a picture coming every other week. I am very excited to do these workouts and hope for the best!
